Wildfire, Wiseguy named Show Female & Show Bull of the Year

“Quality that is consistently recognized” – this is how we describe the honors of IBBA Red Brangus Show Female and Show Bull of the Year achieved by TRIO’s Wildfire 175W and MBJ Wiseguy 269W.

This honor caps an undefeated show career and year for TRIO’s Wildfire 175W. During the 2010 -2011 Show she was named Grand Champion Female at every Standard of Excellence show she attended.
 2011 International Brangus Show, Houston, Texas
 2011 Regional Standard of Excellence, San Antonio, Texas
 2010 National Show of Merit, Shreveport, Louisiana
 2010 Western National Brangus Show, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
 2010 Brangus Futurity, Monroe, Louisiana

In her debut during the spring of 2010, “Wildfire” was selected as Grand Champion at both the International Brangus Show in Houston and the Regional Standard of Excellence in San Antonio.

“Wildfire” is owned with Ranch la Victoria of Tamaulipas, Mexico. She is the daughter of two Houston Grand Champions. Her dam Fancy 175/4 won the International Brangus Show in 2006. Her sire, TRIO’s Sequoia 112S, was Grand Champion of the 2007 National ARBA show at 6 months of age. Her granddam, Dox XX’s Miss Maria 112/2 “Daphne” was the two time ARBA National Champion Female.

MBJ Wiseguy 269W capped a very competitive field of Red Brangus bulls to win Show Bull of the Year honors. Recognitions given to him during year include:
 Reserve Grand Champion, International Red Brangus Show, Houston, Texas
 Reserve Grand Champion, Regional Standard of Excellence, San Antonio, Texas
 Grand Champion, National Show of Merit, Shreveport, Louisiana
 Reserve Grand Champion, Western National Brangus Show, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
 Reserve Junior Champion, Brangus Futurity, Monroe, Louisiana

“Wiseguy”, bred by MBJ Ranch and sired by Lazy 3 Statesman 100S, followed in his sires winning ways from the outset. In his maiden show, “Wiseguy” was selected Grand Champion at the 2010 Regional Standard of Excellence in San Antonio. At this point, Victor de Leon of Rancho La Victoria recognized the potential of Wiseguy and joined the partnership with TRIO and Wiseguy. A few weeks later, “Wiseguy” was Reserve Junior Calf Champion at the 2010 International Brangus Show in Houston.

TRIO extends congratulations to our partners and to all Red Brangus exhibitors for breeding and displaying high quality cattle.
