Two Daughters of Cassie 1114S Offered in Houston

TRIO Cattle & Genetics is offering two uniquely bred females for sale during the Houston Livestock Show. Each of these future donors offers a new perspective on proven Red Brangus bloodlines.

TRIO’s Xara 1114X3 will be the featured Red Brangus offering in “The Collection” on March 2 at The Holiday Inn. She is a daughter of the power sire Tanque 23T and Brinks Cassie 1114S, the 2009 Co-Show Female of the Year. She is confirmed bred to Mr. PB RedBull 521/09 W, the 2011 Red Brangus Grand Champion Bull of the International show here in Houston. Only in “The Collection” will you find a package designed for the progressive Brangus breeder seeking the next generation genetics.

TRIO’s Xara 1114X3 is long bodied, stout structured, sound and packed with performance. She is a full sibling to TRIO’s Xandra 1114X the Grand Champion at the State Fair of Texas and a maternal sibling to TRIO’s Imperator 1114X2 that is currently in the ABS Latin American Sire Line Up. She The product of this mating to Red Bull will combine the legendary sire lines Rocky Street, 19/M and Homerun into a modern phenotype of moderation, efficiency and performance. Xara is the first daughter of Cassie to be offered for sale at a public auction and the first progeny of RedBull to be offered as well. This is a combination not found anyway where else in the breed.

TRIO Cattle & Genetics debated hard to select our offering for the Genetic Edge. TRIO’s Yessica 1114Y presents a combination of show ring eye appeal, power and performance. She is the natural calf of Brinks Cassie 1114S, the 2009 Co-Show Heifer of the Year and the first calf of MBJ Wiseguy 269W, the 2010 Show Bull of the Year. Cassie, a Rocky Street daughter, is a prolific donor and dam of champions. Wiseguy, sired by Statesman, was the Grand Champion Bull in 2010 at San Antonio and the National Show of Merit and Reserve Grand Champion in 2011 at Houston.

Yessica is bold sprung with an abundance of natural muscle end to end and top to bottom. Her future as a cornerstone herd matron is exciting and will be impactful.

TRIO is offering full possession and half embryo interest to a new partner. TRIO is offering to show Yessica 1114Y at the buyer’s option, with expenses shared equally.
